"Aye, it's come this way many a time before, hiding its naked rind coyly before opening wide yet again. We've got a feel for its face, or the inhabitants thereof with their instruments (we think of the Rabbit with its Mortar), this pocked mug forever damned to a sullen and predictable peep show, deigning, however, to ever reveal the contours of its rear to we globe-bound fools. Do you feel the waves shifting (have ye seen the Bay of Fundy?), the oceans churned daily as a pail of comical size in the barely-feeling hands of a child? When it grins at you, do you feel as though it is beckoning, a bi-monthly display of a smile without a cat? And when it disappears? For the second time this month?

A blue moon rose, a particulate borne from a stone receptacle, shining through the square, shining through each unladen window. I heard that this was it. I blew air kisses as if it were mine. I decided to give a speech here, being buried here in a faux cemetery. Those lunar rays, largely of the sun's skin yet mingled with the familiarly sodden turf of moondust, glancing across the Atlantic, shining with joy. To the right, a puff of bubonic yellow flesh, illuminated with redpower, illuminated by flickered orbs, beckons to our forefinger. The photons have dried out, depleting the folic acid battery and turning it on itself, revealing new and beautiful exteriors which had not been there before (not to say there aren't sharp bits that'll nick your finger in the murk hind its ribcage)." - Héloïse Schumacher
